My new favorite spot in Jax. I have been trying to get up here for years, located in Ortega on Roosevelt Pkwy its a neighborhood favorite. Lillian's is so remote it has to be great to tempt you to make the drive and its even better than that, its awesome!

A perfect place for me to just slide in for a late lunch or early supper with my service dog when I want pub food. I have been coming here for years--it's got a 'bar' side, but the section I prefer is family-friendly. My daughter and I e joyed the trivia games.

My daughter and I stopped in for dinner last night and as always, the food was great, the service was over the top and the price was right. We started out with a potato skin appetizer that was absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered wings and I had Lillian's famous meatloaf. Both were cooked to perfection.

Was heading to golf, on a quick vacation, and stopped on the way. Glad I did. Came on Wednesday and had their lunch special, Country Fried Steak, and it was so good. Pleasantly surprised to say the least. Don't live around here however if I did, I'd come back pretty often.

Just bought a house in this grand old section of Jacksonville. Spotted this place, Lillians, from the road during the real-estate goings on and told my wife that it looked like a potential home bar. Warm atmosphere. I had two fried pork chops that were like something the farmers used to serve up at county fairs and fundraisers back home in Indiana. Incredible.
